GRAPHIC DESIGN
YEAR 2
I am currently in my second year, and I have showcased a little of my second year's work here on this page. However, there are still additional pieces I am working on for each current assignment.
This page will include my critical analysis, which I usually record in a video showing evidence of my research, for each work process throughout each section of my assignments as I analyse and express my progress to my conclusions.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH
The Brief;
You will be creating a mixed media outcome. The aim is to create an illustration, which you will then print out and use recycled goods to add a 3D effect.
I have researched online as my knowledge of BHM is very limited, I have found historical information regarding events in the past that have changed the black community is many positive and negative ways, mostly BHM celebrates the achievements of individuals that have had major influence on black lives throughout the world.
I’m looking at demonstrating human internal organs both male and female, showing we are all the same here on Earth and we are not defined by our colour or race as we are one intelligent species and should not continue to define our differences. Our history tells us that after hundreds of years of acknowledging our differences, our colour of skin and race we have divided ourselves, we can celebrate our history together but ultimately we are one race. I have used sustainable materials, we had a limited time to make a physical poster in class.
It is not in the style minimal style that represents me as a designer, I prefer the drawing on it’s own above in the first image so I would like to use this to actually design the black history month poster in my own signature design.
POP ART ILLUSTRATION CLASS
This was for my animation class which is a current project and I designed on illustrator first, this will be available to see on my animation once I finish it.
