“ as a designer I like simple, smooth linear flow that is easy on the eye, instantly grabs your attention, tells a story and most of all takes you on an experience, inspires your dreams and allows the magic to sparkle in your eyes”
Artists and Designers that inspire me.
In this video I talk about Minimalism Research, Inspiration and Influential Artists.
THE STUDIO
This is my studio that I use currently for my main career in skincare however I have recently devoted a section of my studio to my graphic design course so that I can have a permanent set up and desk area where I can focus on my work and have all my equipment set up constantly, I can be more productive now than I was in my first year on my graphics course at access creative college, when I was studying and designing from home In simply had no space in my apartment, now I can utilise part of my studio as a design/office space.
This is my new design space area in my studio.
I am extremely committed and passionate about being a designer, this space helps my creative juices flow, I designed it originally for my current business, it is set in a 200 year old cotton mill in Ancoats of Manchester city centre, this is my happiest place to be, I generally leave college and go straight to my studio to continue my assignments and make art, I will be using this space when I am at university too which I am very excited about.
One of my favourite pianist that I like to play whilst I am producing any work, I like to play this artist in my studio for background pleasure and it keeps my mind creative and calm which I find is a very important part of any art and design process, I think better with beautiful expressive music and see more colour and images in my mind with having such a dyslexic brain, my thoughts never stop flowing, I am always producing and creating art.
